Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: [Effective Date]
This page explains how to stop Stanmer Archiving from collecting your data and how to have data we hold deleted. It covers data received from Google/YouTube, Facebook and X.
If you are a Stanmer Archiving customer
- Disconnect an account: sign in, open Connected accounts and choose Disconnect. Collection stops immediately and we delete the stored access token.
- Delete archived content: an organization owner can delete a connected account's archive from the same page, or email us to request deletion.
- Close your organization: email [[email protected]] from an owner's address. We delete all of your organization's data from active systems within [30] days and from backups within [90] days, and confirm by email.
Revoke access from the platform
You can remove Stanmer Archiving's access at any time directly from the platform, even without signing in to Stanmer Archiving:
- Google / YouTube: go to Google Account → Third-party apps & services, select Stanmer Archiving and choose Delete all connections.
- Facebook: go to Settings → Business integrations, select Stanmer Archiving and choose Remove.
- X: go to Settings → Security and account access → Apps and sessions → Connected apps, select Stanmer Archiving and choose Revoke app permissions.
Revoking access stops future collection. To also delete content that was already archived, follow the steps above or email us.
If your content appears in someone else's archive
If you commented on, or appear in, content from an account that a Stanmer Archiving customer archives, that customer controls the archive. Contact the organization directly, or email [[email protected]] with a link to the content and we will forward your request to the customer and help them respond.
